Dulce Caramel Sauce November 28 2014

If you're looking for a quick and easy dessert this summer look no further than this recipe for caramel sauce using our Dulce sugar. 



200g Dulce Sugar

100g golden syrup

100g butter

4g flaky sea salt

2 tablespoon Bourbon (optional)

1/3 Cup cream



In large saucepan combine sugar, syrup and butter and gently melt until sugar begins to dissolve. Allow to boil for 5 minutes, stir occasionally, use back of spoon to smooth out Dulce clusters. Add Bourbon. Be careful as it may spit. Stir to combine. Add cream. Allow to boil for a further minute. Remove from heat. Pour into sterilized jars. Or serving jug. Will keep for a week.
